Diastemas or Tooth Gaps
Finding information on tooth gaps and how to correct them with the Tropic Premise is hard to come by (from what I've seen anyway,) because the opposite issue of teeth crowding is so much more common. Because of that I'm making a video on it because I obviously have some experience with this issue, and I believe I have an explanation as to why they happen and also how to fix them.
At the core of it all, gap teeth are caused by the same basic issue as crowded teeth, not enough space for the tongue. You can correct the gaps by correcting your oral posture and allowing the balance zone between the force of the tongue against the palate and the lips against your teeth to gradually expand the maxilla where it needs to, and also to narrow it in the areas your tongue has been pushing against to cause the gaps.
It takes time and effort, and it's not going to be a linear process due to the nature of what's going on to achieve it, but I've seen my own gaps get smaller in the 2 years I've been practicing the Tropic Premise (inefficiently as well for the most part which is why my results are slower than they could of been,) so my advice to anyone with this issue is to get your tongue up on the roof of your mouth without making contact with the teeth to allow the jaws to expand forwards, and keep your mouth shut unless talking or eating to allow the force of the lips to pull the teeth into line and close the gaps.
Feel free to ask me questions. I'm happy to answer them if I have the knowledge to do so. Good luck.
