9In this short discussion video, I take a look at Beat Saber's impact on the virtual reality market within the past few years. Spoiler, it's both good and bad. On the one hand, it has led to an infection of gameplay focused, rhythm-based games, especially on Quest. This limits the amount of overall varied experiences in VR. But then again, you can't deny just how many people have gotten into VR from these kinds of games. The amount of exposure virtual reality has gained from Beat Saber alone is unheard of! So all in all, the question did Beat Saber ruin VR is a puzzling one.
