First off: Many apologies for the sound quality (particularly my voice volume) in this series.

Nintendo's most popular IP is hands down Mario. But from its inception Mario games are all 2D. How would a 3D Mario game look? How would it feel? How would it play? When video games transitioned into 3D during this era it brought up many philosophical issues, maybe some video games shouldn't even be in 3D. Regardless, I'm a firm believer that neither style is more "correct" than the other, both styles of 2D and 3D should exist in games.

Part 4 we face off for the first time against our rival foe Bowser. Check out the video to hear the story behind a certain dialog that Mario says when throwing Bowser that has been removed from later remakes of Mario 64. This actually gets me on a video-long rant about human hypocrisy and immaturity regarding their inability of living in peace with people they don't agree with. These days it's about destroying someone's life and/or career if they dare say anything against the views of powers that be. But in the game we continue to roll through the basement, Lethal Lava Land and Hazy Maze Cave.
