Did GiantLands & WFD Troll the OSR?
2A little rant about lil Stevie and his antics with WFD games and Giantlands. The OSR crowd has trolled and been trolled. To viewers who watch I AM NOT affiliated aligned or approved by the following to speak about or on their behalf beyond my own personal interactions and experience with any of these people in the space formerly known as Twitter and then X before Elon went nuts and took half the crowd with him- Max, Diversity and Dragons, Tenkar, Bill Silvey The Dungeon Delver, and the GREAT Rob Kuntz Blackmoor Braunstein himself- A majority of the OG Grognards I've had contact with on Twitter are all solid folks to the core in their principles on where they personally stand on things that affect THEIR hobby. I have enjoyed your programs and you were amicable to me; so I stilll do! despite your feelings about this WFD and Giantlands and NuTSR the OSR and Star Frontiers before that.) All of us felt like our politics or views was hindering us from speaking about the game we love or being ourselves despite our differences in background or political opinions. I dont even have an axe to grind with Mr Dinehart with this video except to question where he came from and why did it lead up to all of this? Are you burning money with a smudge stick as a joke to troll the OSR, and everyone else in between? Was this the whole intent all along as WOTC swallowed up D&D with Hasbro and changed the culture post covid with their corporate AI phantasm of a money draining virtual tabletop grift, it's just selling you another video or board game with activist politics inserted yet again, funded by the unknowing and ill informed. DID WE ALL GET TROLLED?
