Did this show predict the future?
196“Serial Experiments Lain” is a pretty wacky anime, and to be honest I didn’t really even like it! But it does raise some interesting questions related to our lives. It seems so many concepts discussed in the anime are reflected in our current era. It doesn’t even feel like a warning, it is just blatantly shown that technology has the capacity to destroy us. This series was released right as the internet began to gain popularity, so they were likely doing lots of guessing on how things would end up. Or maybe they knew something that we don’t… what do you think? Thanks for watching.
