Did Xbox Drop The Ball Again? Xbox Series X Games Showcase Review
19Xbox had their Series X Games Showcase and it wasn't all to my liking, here's my review of the whole live event.The number of actual gameplay footage shown in this event was similar to the inside Xbox event. Only about three games or so had gameplay and Xbox did promised the fans for more real in- game footage since the last event. This would be Microsoft second misstep heading in the next gen of consoles. The Showcase overall seemed lackluster and rushed, with a few good new reveals sprinkled in some parts of it. The Halo Infinite game demo was pretty decent but ultimately didn't save the show. In my own personal opinion, Crossfire X's Single player was the highlight of the entire show. Overall, I feel like Xbox dropped the ball this time around and bit off more than they could chew. I really hope Xbox picks up the pace as we head closer towards the console release.
