Will Ferell is actually playing the flute! One of the most popular scenes in the iconic cult classic comedy is when Ron Burgundy breaks out the Jazz Flute to impress Veronica Corningstone. The whole idea of Ron playing the flute was Will Ferrell's idea and probably came from the fact that he can actually play it. Ferell learned to play in elementary school and has since kept it up. It’s not the only talent Ferell showcased in these movies as he also showed off his ice skating skills in the sequel.
