Given that the majority of us watched this film as children, we can be forgiven for missing this oddly specific detail that was put into the film. We know Gill as the leader of the Tank Gang, the fish that are held in captivity in the dentist's office, but what you may not have known is the reason as to why Gill is always trying to escape. Gill is a moorish idol fish, which are notoriously difficult to keep in captivity, which makes sense as to why he is the one that always comes up with the plans to escape.
