John Leguizamo’s character name is officially George Diaz, but he’s only credited as Movie Star. In fact, he actually based his character off of Steven Segal who he had a terrible experience working with. The two of them worked on the 1996 film, Executive Decision, and John has stated that Steven was a horrible human. To make the connection clear, there are multiple references to Diaz playing a cook in one of his films, and this is a reference to Steven Segal playing a cook in Under Siege.
