THE NERDUDE RECIPE:
- 1/2 c. frozen blueberries
- 1/2 t. blue sugar (or blue Pixi Stix)
- 2 oz. Don Q (or any mild white rum)
- 1 oz blood orange liquor
- 2 slices lemon
- sparkling lemonade
- sprig of rosemary (optional)
In a shaker, muddle the blueberries withe the sugar. Pour in the rum and the blood orange liquor and muddle a little bit longer (to help blend the blueberries with the alcohol). Add ice to the shaker and shake until very chilled. Pour over a fine mesh strainer into a rocks glass. Add frozen grapes if desired to help keep the drink cold. Pour the sparkling lemonade into the glass until full. Add in the slices of lemon. Smash the rosemary between your hands to release the essential oils and slip into the drink. Enjoy!
