One of the sickest games from 1998 and arguably the best physics to date when released (maybe tied with Carmageddon 2 for that year). Still unique in how in controls, and in some ways still the best to ever do it. My friends and I couldn't wait to get home from school and hack each other to pieces over the internet. The game sold poorly, but popularity has never equaled quality and never will.
The Xtended mod supports modern resolutions, enhanced particle effects, and other modern features. I recommend setting Windows 7 compatibility mode stability, and I play at a DPI of 3600.
