Soulsborne games have taught us gaming fans that it is fine to die. It will be annoying, frustrating, maddening, soul-crushing, etc. But we learn more through loss than through victory. Though I wonder if loss should also temper a sense of patience, because I'm not sure I've become a more patient gamer.

The last time Leon was confined in a shack, bad guys swarmed from everywhere to take him down (hence my name for it, the “baddyshack”). Even with Luis as backup, I struggled quite a bit to fend off the flood. In this episode, we find ourselves once again stuck in a baddyshack. This time, no Luis, but also no swarms. We face -one- big bad guy with one very important eye, the eye that is the key to freedom for Leon and Ashley. I am prepared to die for that eye, no matter how many tries it will take!
