This game really has some of the worst level design ever conceived. As you can see, stealth and non-lethality are barely possible at all. Like in my very first YT video, the mansion level demonstrates how the game actually breaks its own rules to force a combat scene during live gameplay. So, it's not even like Metal Gear where your character gets caught in a cutscene and starts combat. It's worse than Metal Gear. The game gives the enemy your exact location during gameplay and tells them to start shooting in that direction, even though no one has seen you yet.

I didn't finish the campaign while playing this time. The game is too infuriating. It's a continuous barrage of mission objectives that are designed to be uncompletable without a lot of murder or alerts. In fact its checkpoint system despawns all nearby enemies after reloading a save because the game simply assumes that you killed everyone, and so there are no consequences to attempting to stay unseen, or failing to do so. Also, it has checkpoint saves that happen before unskippable cutscenes. And by the way, if you think the game looks better than it should, that's because I'm using a mod that lets me turn off the monochrome filter that is usually enabled when in shadow. The game already has a visibility indicator, it doesn't need to desaturate the whole screen to make a point. The lower right side status bar has a dark background when in light and a bright background when in shadow.

And yes, editing this video really did temporarily corrupt my computer's master boot record.
