I don't like the setting of this game quite as much as the first game. Not sure I like the dungeons as much either. I also don't really like the way units are getting removed so much as far as gameplay goes, because in the first game the character would leave and come back with a new ability (the one you were training them on), here it doesn't seem like they will. In the first game you could more reliably know where to put money and other resources.

The fight with the Naga and Raja Naga demons was really annoying, in hind sight I should have just gone back and gotten a bunch of stuff to prevent me from being muted, it really was the most annoying thing in the world. I also used so many precious items, although it probably won't hurt too much since I can probably grind my way through some later portions of the game.

That's one of the minor things about a lot of JRPGs, they're pretty much conceived in such a way that the best way to get through them is oftentimes to face bosses the first time with the intention of dying, dying quickly, and then going back with the right setup so you can trivialize the fight. If I had anti-mute setup the fight would have been easy, also if I set up fire on all my units, but I didn't know before hand, so the fight was rather difficult as a result.
