Digital Integration: HIND - [ PC ] - Intro & Gameplay
I decided to write the company name out on these two games because this is Digital Integrations;
HIND
Released in 1996 by the aforementioned company, it's the sequel to the highly successful Apache Longbow. Digital Integration were aiming for the stars during these days as they'd eventually go on to create actual real flight simulators for military and flight schools, or at least I was under the impression of this but I can't see, to find that information anymore as they apparently got owned by Titus though operated under their own banner.
Regardless, HIND is compatible with Apache in cross-game multiplayer in what they trademarked as 'Virtual Battlefield'. Not only that, just like in Apache, two players can occupy the same helicopter where one is the pilot and the other is the gunner.
They are well-beloved games alongside Digital Integrations other games such as F-16, though I have no idea if F-16 is compatible with either Apache or Hind though evidence within F-16 suggest is as a possibility since an identical HIND model is present in the game, as well as the Apache.
The game is interesting but I have no idea why I can't land it to save my life. It seems like no matter how slow I try to land, it inevitable ends up exploding. I'll evidently have to read the control manual a lot more. It makes the HIND seem extremely tender compared to the F-16 that can land rather roughly, or I'm simply just better when it comes to planes as opposed to helicopters.
Technical issues present in this video that I find dubious: No sound during intro, not sure why this is. And sound in general is choppy. This is normally not so at all. The gun runs very smooth. Must be the recording software.
