I forgot to mention that even physical games, there are games that requires day 1 update so you won't be able to pay them without the update. And there are also games like diablo 4 that does not support offline, so it requires you to be connected online to play.

another cons of having digital games is the size of the games. Nowadays, average games are usually around 60gb, so you need a good internet speed to download them or simply leave your ps4 to rest mode while downloading.
