Dim Mak Collection: New York Fashion Week
Dim Mak Collection at New York Fashion Week in January 2017.
After four successful seasons, Steve Aoki has officially launched DIM MAK COLLECTION in North America during the Fall/Winter 2017 New York Fashion Week: Men’s. The FW17 collection is inspired by William S. Burroughs and the Beat Generation’s influence on New York City’s punk scene in the 1970s. "I've always had an affinity for the beat generation and what they stood for,” said Aoki. “I believe that the same thing is happening now...rejection of the standard, the norm. It's not business as usual from fashion, business to politics.”

By Any Means Necessary
In 1996, Steve Aoki founded DIM MAK and developed it into an influential independent record label and music lifestyle brand. Responsible for launching the careers of seminal acts such as Bloc Party, The Bloody Beetroots, The Chainsmokers, Deorro, Keys N Krates and countless others, the independently owned DIM MAK has consistently pushed new musical movements via its staunch DIY ethos. With a back catalog hundreds of records deep, a history of legendary live events, and a fully formed clothing line, Dim Mak continues its global mission of promoting boundary-pushing music and culture ‘by any means necessary.’
