Dino Crisis Walkthrough Part 5: Breaching The Lab
0Using the passcode given to her by a dying researcher in the gas chamber, Regina follows the memos left behind by a pair of researchers who also tried to find a way into Kirk's private laboratory before the appearance of the dinosaurs, having deduced that the lab entrance in the computer room requires the usage of two keycards that need to be used simultaneously. After securing both cards, one in the library room within the storage unit corresponding to the passcode previously given to her and the other in the room on the facility's second floor where she was previously attacked by T-Rex, Regina returns to the computer room to try and access the laboratory, eventually deciding to contact Gail for assistance, two agents eventually uncovering the lab entrance. Upon entering it, Regina discovers that the lab houses state-of-the-art emulator of the Third Energy and that Kirk has already escaped through the hatch in the room, also uncovering Kirk's log revealing that Third Energy is so volatile that even a slightest mistake with its handling can have severe consequences and more importantly, that the research into Third Energy conducted within the facility had something to do with the appearance of the dinosaurs on the island that he wished to study, causing him to stay within the facility instead of evacuating. As she exits the room to report her findings back to Gail, both agents end up trapped in the room as emergency lockdown is initiated. After Regina bypasses the lockdown, her, Gail and Rick realize that Kirk has most likely activated the measure and is not too far away, Gail deciding to try and intercept the doctor through the research section swarming with dinosaurs while Rick suggests remotely hacking into the lab's separate system in order to open the escape hatch used by Kirk despite this being potentially time-wasting. Despite this, Regina sides with Rick and returns to the laboratory...
