9With some more time to think on it I'm feeling like Dinosaur Hunt is summed up best as an Arcade Hunter game. It's not quite a true hunting simulator like theHunter's entries with how it seems to only lightly sprinkle or use mechanics more essential into a hunting simulator like visibility, scent, sound etc. Dinosaur Hunt still uses these systems but they're not as core or fundamental as other hunting simulators are. For myself I feel like the Carnivores community and perhaps even some of the hunting game and dinosaur game community are waiting for that one true dinosaur hunting game that has the depth and feel of theHunter with the aspect and variety of dinosaurs like Prehistoric Hunt and Dinosaur Hunt. And as we hope for that perhaps we've been putting those hopes and using them to judge other entries and games. I don't know for certain but I think it can be agreed as far as hunting games go Dinosaur Hunt isn't really one of the most involved when it comes to the hunting side of the spectrum.
