This is it, probably the last piece of Dinosaur Hunting merchandise and ephemera that I'm ever going to find: the Japanese Strategy Guide. Released alongside the game in 2003, this 80-page book from Soft Bank Publishing is one entry in the "Xbox BOOKS" series of guides released only in Japan.

I haven't done any translating or scanning yet, this was actually my first time flipping through the entire book and will hopefully be high res enough for anyone looking for specific info. Check the links further down for scans, resources, and more!

🦕 ABOUT THE GAME
Exclusively released on the original Xbox in Japan in September of 2003, Dinosaur Hunting was developed by Scarab and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was in translation for a Western release in 2004 when publisher Metro3D shut down. Review copies were distributed to magazines but the game was never released to stores and has been incredibly hard to find.

In late September of 2021, game development preservation group Hidden Palace released the 2003 NTSC Beta build of Dinosaur Hunting online.
