Today, Forest of Illusion has released a very late build of Dinosaur Planet for the Nintendo 64, dated December 1st, 2000! In this build, we can see that around 90% of the game was finished, and even the Star Fox merge was at least mostly completed, before Rare jumped to a different architecture, the Nintendo GameCube, when it was released as Star Fox Adventures in September of 2002.

It is worth noting that this prototype has trouble running on emulators. Your best bet is probably the emulator I'm using, known as ParaLLEl N64. It's super accurate, with an RDP core based on AngryLion, but this time running on Vulkan and not the CPU, and has has the RSP emulated in LLE. If you're having trouble getting it to render correctly in emulators, try using this one.
