Dinosaur Planet (REAL N64) WALKTHROUGH PART 4 - DISCOVERY FALLS (DINOMOD ENHANCED)
Hello guys, and welcome back to another helpful video. In this video I'll be playing through Discovery Falls as Krystal in the unreleased Dinosaur Planet, using a REAL N64.
For Discovery Falls, I recommend that you have some magic beforehand. As you'll be using the Projectile and Forcefield spells quite a bit.
You can get magic in DF, but I thought to let you know that magic is important for your spells in order to progress.
Or if you're ever stuck in a situation with no magic, you can always use these GameShark codes for infinite magic: 815C3968 0019, 815C3974 0019 (dying also restores all your magic).
At 3:34, to cross the ropes: stand on this pad and hold the "A" button to grab the rope, then hold "forward" on the control stick to move (you don't have to hold "A" when moving).
There are 4 switches you need to activate, in order to get to the Krazoa Shrine.
The Food Bag is used to store eggs and apples (there's also a weird bean looking object, but is displays as an apple in the bag).
To put food in the bag, you must have full health. Any extra food you pick up will then be placed in the bag. You will actually need eggs to do this puzzle at 11:37.
With the logs, make sure to be careful not to get them stuck whilst riding them. As you run the risk of crashing the game. This is because the log can get shot out of bounds.
At 11:37, this dinosaurs name is Capy, he is needed for a switch. To get Capy to help you, you need to feed him eggs. Open your Food Bag and place eggs in front of these cracks, Capy will dig holes for Krystal to crawl through. His pathing is a bit slow, but he will dig eventually.
At 17:33, this section has issues, specifically with the keg not blowing up the wall to drain the water. It can take several attempts.
There's no trick to it unfortunately, as it feels random when it actually wants to work. It all depends on how lucky you are.
If you're struggling to do it, you can just bypass it altogether by using noclip. Or by going into first person view in the water whilst holding the "Z" button, you can even just walk through the water while holding a keg, for some reason?
At 19:35, to get to the shrine quicker, take the log down this waterfall.
At 21:00, Test of Combat requires you to defeat a certain number of SharpClaws within a time limit.
All these patches to the game are made possible by the incredible efforts in the Dinosaur Planet Community Discord:
