Hello guys, and welcome back to another helpful video. In this video I'll be playing through the opening as Krystal in the unreleased Dinosaur Planet, using a REAL N64.

I thought to give an update on the current state of Dinosaur Planet! The game has had some major bug fixes and improvements since DINOMOD v2.4, so much so that you can play through a big portion of the game with minimal issues.

Progression in later sections can still be a little fiddly, but is far better than what it was.

With these improvements, I decided to try doing another walkthrough, but this time using an actual N64 to play test everything.

Also because using an N64 will give a more accurate representation of what's going on. Although, using a good emulator will do the trick, if using real hardware isn't an option.

In order for a patched Dinosaur Planet ROM to work on an N64 with an EverDrive-64 X5 (or X7), you need to copy and paste DP=5 into save_db.txt under ID detection. Save_db.txt is located inside the ED64 folder on your Micro SD Card.
