Diplomatic Consequences - Remnants of the Precursors - Silicoid - Let's Play Stream #12 - RotP 0.92
Life isn't fair in Remnants of the Precursors. Someone has to live, and in turn others have to die. So why are other, more learned races so appalled by this reality. As creatures of stone, we can do nothing but slowly wither away as others of flesh and blood live, grow, and die in a much faster cycle. It's a matter of perspective. Why are they so angry about the fact that at some point life expires?

Quick note that this stream (and the rest of this series) will be on the older 0.92 version of the game.
Remnants of the Precursors is a rebuild of the 4x classic Master of Orion, a game that digs deep into the four fundamentals of explore, exploit, expand, and exterminate. The game pits a number of different sci-fi races and cultures against each other both for galactic domination and to find out the truth behind old technology left by the aptly named Orions. Players can choose to peacemonger their way into the helm of the galactic council, or you can design your own ships and obliterate other planets from orbit. The important decisions come early, and the game gives you a lot of options for how to tackle problems. But at the end of the day, not everyone you encounter will be friendly. Is it time to open fire and engage?
This run is unmodded. In future runs I'll be using/showcasing some mods but I wanted to keep it more straightforward at the start. However, AI personalities are randomized.
