What is the Commander's curse but to find no peace after death. The Last Spell pulls the player forward through the regular form of inter-dimensional hijinks from being that may or may not have their own ulterior motives. But at least we have access to new weapons and shiny vestigial walls. Time to start the kill engine once again.



Side note, I am currently VERY frustrated with YouTube breaking or failing to process videos for this series. And it is JUST this series. I'm not doing anything differently here than I'm doing for any other videos (at least until now). Thank you all for sticking with it, I promise video quality is my goal.



The Last Spell is a game that promises a lot: tactical combat and city building on top of surviving wave after wave of hellish creatures attempting to tear it all down. The art direction is solid and the soundtrack is amazing. But presentation aside, I'm happy to report that even in Early Access the gameplay loop works and works quite well. There's solid Meta Progression to help you continue to build towards something bigger, but for now one rule is clear: you will die. A lot. The fates have great designs for you, Commander.
