DiRT 3: Gymkhana Donut Tutorial - How To Get Platinum
90Probably the most difficult tutorial to score platinum in. I tried different routes but I think the best route is to go anti-clockwise small, clockwise medium, anti-clockwise small, anti-clockwise large, clockwise medium and repeat it.
If you're using manual, I would recommend second gear for both the large and medium donuts and first gear for the small donut.
You need 110,000pts for platinum which means 11 'perfect' 10,000pts drifts. You may be able to get away with 12 drifts with two or three being less than 10,000pts if you're fast about it. If you're having trouble visualising where to drift exactly, turn on the 'tricksteer visual aid'. This is required to unlock the 'Teachers Pet' achievement as shown at the end of the video.
