I picked up a Black Friday PSVR bundle deal (with Move controllers, Superhot VR and Creed Rise to Glory). When I saw that Dirt Rally had a purchasable VR option, I purchased that thing immediately.

However, when I first tried it, I was disappointed that the camera forced me to look up and down hills. I didn't feel like I was "in" the car. Then I locked the camera to the car orientation and immediately started feeling ill. So, I've learned to love the default camera option. I just wish it had an option for an elastic camera lock. Instead, I feel like a ghost head moving along the track.

In any case, I tried this race with a 1960s car to reacquaint myself with Dirt Rally. It's on a base PS4, so the graphics aren't great. But it's still a decent thrill. If I really get into it again, the better graphics would be a reason to get a PS4 Pro eventually - not to mention Skyrim VR.

No steering wheel controller. Yet.

Hmm, it looks like the recording is of the right eye view. I'm just using the Share capability of the PS4 to record.
