Disc Room - Never play a room twice challenge
0So going for all challenges in disc room and this one basically is a yolo challenge, meaning that if there's any objective you're aiming for in a room it HAS to be done first try, i initially struggled to figure out the route needed for this so ill be including my route below should anyone want to use it since i couldn't find a guide or written route anywhere.
There are some major choke points in this, starting with the carnivourous gatekeeper which just is terribly annoying and tends to force you into a corner which can quickly kill you, luckily the saws dont expoentially increase in this room so playing patiently works out, the next scary section is area 4 (the darkness area) as you need to clock up 2 minutes within 2 rooms, meaning the first room there's a lot of pressure to get a good time, and then finally to make everything way worse, the hardest room is right before the final boss with that room being "again", not a lot of strategy for this one i just threw myself at it and relied heavily on reflex.
as described earlier, here is my route with my strategy notes included:
area 1 making sure to get 90 seconds total
rack up time in area 2 and do overgrown keeper
area 3
over to infrared asap + rack up time for event horizion in any room that is in area 2
grab disc in the challenge before timeless to meet the die with 4 saws in the room criteria
rack up 2 mins for area 4 to do phantom keeper
area 5 using absorb in first room
again with absorb
ultimate keeper with slow
