Lifeslide - Survivor achievement
0Lifeslide is a game where you play as a paper airplane navigating various landscapes, making use of the terrain and powerups to keep your momentum moving through each level, currently the game is very unknown and has a free demo on steam, so make sure to give it a try!
The survivor achievement requires you to beat the entire game without crashing once, a crash happens if you run out of speed and can no longer move, you hit into an object too fast, you go too far out of bounds, or collide with any surface once integrity (the yellow number behind the airplane) hits 0.
Because the game takes around 1 hour to complete, this run requires a lot of focus the entire time, with needing to manage height, speed and integrity making sure to collect yellow gems which restore integrity, hence why i contiually collect them throughout the run, another thing is that i store a green speed boost if possible to act as a second wind should i run out of speed or collide with anything to get speed again.
Something else worth mentioning is that the blue gems are used to purchase plane upgrades such as speed,steering, lift and different planes, my plane had maxed out stats to ensure for the easiest flight possible and i used the 4th plane which has slower speed, but improved steering and lift to allow for easier correction when i made errors.
