Looks like the reddit CEO Jason Citron just quietly announced Discord is getting Crypto Currency Support on Twitter. Posting a screenshot of Discord with a section under "Connections" in user settings showing Ethereum Wallet Support (MetaMask & WalletConnect) to start.

Does this mean Discord is adding Cryptocoin Wallets to every Discord Account? Maybe.

But it also shows that many users arent super happy with Discord's Decision to implement Crypto. With many not only voicing their disapproval online, but others also Cancelling their Nitro Subscriptions in protest.
