Feels more like this place rusted than just some sort of odd fungal issue! A note left by one of the NPC's down here stated it was like smelling cinnamon or something. Best not to eat this stuff!
If this fungal stuff took over a zombie I wonder on what else it can do or influence when consumed by the enemies down here!
