Disgaea 7 - More than 8 item properties on an item
When manually reincarnating an item, you're limited to the 1 innate item property plus 7 (customizable) item properties: by default you can inherit up to 1/2/3/4 properties as a common/rare/legendary/epic item, but upgrading the Item Reincarnators squad can increase that amount by 2, and passing an item enhancement increases that by 1.
Separate from that, the new item you're reincarnating into can already have item properties on it (as well as a ~10% chance to add one of 125 rare item properties). However, you're limited to 8 total item properties, so if you want to keep multiple of these randomly-generated properties then you need to inherit fewer properties until you're below 8 total.
...Except that there's a bug with Mass Reincarnation!
It seems like, instead of prioritizing all N new-item properties and then inheriting (7-N) from the old item, per the default selections when reincarnating manually... mass reincarnation simply keeps the top seven properties from the old item (i.e. it drops the 8th if the new item has a different innate property) AND adds all new item properties, thus allowing you to bypass the limit. (You can't infinitely stack item properties though!)
For the most part I don't think I care enough to do this kind of thing (you both need to hope the desired new item's form is in the 1st slot when reincarnating — notice that only 17 of the 33 ATK MW I reincarnated turned into another ATK MW) and also hope that it randomly rolls the item properties you want to add... and also the inherited stats just use the default 'evenly inherit all stats' spread (whereas I min-max and focus purely on ATK and HIT) thus losing compounded stats this way unless you already were doing that to begin with.
Still, for people that currently just evenly inherit stats from a Trapezohedron, or once the big update drops and all stats can inherit 90% [assuming this bug isn't patched], then maybe it'd be useful for others.
