So, after trudging through all those annoying Overseers and their stupid Music Boxes, we finally get to the end of the DLC to discover who had led those A-holes here. *Note: Like per usual when I give my final thoughts of a game/DLC, there are going to be spoilers so I suggest finish watching the video before continuing to read*. Alright, so I should probably talk about the story first since the mechanics aren’t too different from the main game. For the most part, I thought that it was a pretty decent storyline expect for the last little twist about Billie’s Betrayal. I felt like it was a little suspicious and very sudden (I understand that someone has to Betray us in order for the Overseers to get into our Base but, throughout the DLC, Billie has been super helpful and got us as far as we did so it seems odd that she would just be like “You know what, I want to be in charge now” and then have her spill the beans herself without any sort of fight is even weirder to me). I understand that the story continues into the Brigmore Witches DLC and we get to follow Delilah more but I think it would have made more sense if we saw more of Billie’s betrayal (Like if she gave us some bad information that led to a trap that she could then blame the person who gave her the info and say she murder him; Something that would make me believe that she wanted to betray us) throughout this DLC since she isn’t in the next one. I also wonder if someone else betrays me if I go with a High Chaos level instead since her excuse was that she thought I was weak by not killing people. Besides this little bump, I thought the other targets were fun to go after. As I said before, the Mechanics aren’t too different from the main game with the exception of the Blink now being able to freeze time while not moving which was difficult to get used to but I got better at in the Second DLC (I don’t think there is enough time to get used to it in this DLC alone but it is very useful to adjust your blinks). Overall, This DLC is pretty much just more Dishonored which is what I wanted since the main game was great.
