Dishonored Any% Console (PS4) in 57:44 [4-8Live]
21I’d like to thank everybody on my stream for hanging out during this run, it was such a fun afternoon! This is an Any% Console run, which differs from the PC run by not being broken to a million pieces. The console run only has a few wall clips and 2 out of bounds. Looking back on this run it’s not as flawless as I describe at the end of the video, but it is really solid for an hour long run and I’m super happy with it. There’s a few things I forgot to mention that I’ll talk about below, but in general enjoy the run and thanks for checking it out!
Intro 3:27 – Went fine, missed the two assassins with one shot. I’ve gotten 3:26 before.
Coldridge 8:26 – The worst part of the entire run is the first jump in this section. It went okay, obviously lost some time jumping around. The guard also didn’t unlock the door which loses quite a bit, but I was able to jump past the second guard which won some of that time back. This is probably the best section to save time in the future, my best segment is 8 seconds better.
Cambell 17:42 – A few obvious mistakes here, that fall off of the fence really sucked, the rest is small stuff. 2 Attempts on both wall clips isn’t bad, but I’ve gotten them first try many times.
Pendletons 24:56 – Morgan in the steam room sucks, but the rest of this split went surprisingly well. That jump to the gold room is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever done.
Kaldwin’s Bridge 32:52 – I said this is the only split that I did worse than my previous PB, but I actually lost like half a second on the last split as well. This split still went pretty well though, my PB bridge was really good. Stupid whale oil.
Boyles 39:11 – I’m happy with this split, could save a few seconds by not fiddling around with my sword. There is an alternate method to this split which takes a wall clip and RNG, it never seems to save much time for me and RNG can destroy the run, so I probably won’t ever do it on console.
Lord Regent 44:33 – What a great split. It can be faster, but this made the run for me as this is always my worst split. I’m so happy this split went so well. You can insert the audiograph while jumping, you can land on Samuel instead of the water, and the first section I had a weird blink that went nowhere, all that together could save 4 or 5 seconds, maybe a bit more.
Flooded 54:23 – The bricks went perfect, so perfect that you shouldn’t even watch it, you can just skip that part. Real talk though that was the fastest first section out of bounds I’ve ever done in a run, and the rest goes great too. Almost died on the electric tracks lol.
Kingsparrow 57:44 – Well I didn’t play it safe and it paid off. The only issue here is running out of energy, it costs me a lot of time between skipping a jump that saves around 3 seconds to fumbling with the guard and having to wait for the last blink. But this section has never gone well for me, in fact this split is only half a second off my best split, so I’m happy with it!
