Right after doing the standard match gauntlet, I decided to go ahead and play through core gauntlet mode, where your objective is to destroy the opposing teams crystal as quickly as you can. Not always the easiest thing to do since its stops taking damage the moment they enter the crystals barrier.

I'll admit that I don't really like this mode as much as the standard matches. I like how quickly you can finish the standard matches while core matches tend to take a while if the opposing team decides to huddle near their crystal. Quite annoying, as you can see...

I suppose the only other thing I'll bring up is Tidus' HP attacks. Spiral Cut and Jecht Shot are my favorite ones to use. Slice & Dice is okayish since its an AoE attack, but the only good thing about Energy Rain is its range. I could almost never hit anything with it because it was so telegraphed. Spiral Cut comes out the quickest even if its nothing fancy, and Jecht Shot looks really stylish if you manage to land it, especially the charged up Jecht Shot 2 version. Shame Blitz Ace didn't make it into the game, though Quick Hit is close enough, I suppose.
