Just a quick video. I tried out using distilled White Vinegar as a rust remover. It sat for about 6-6.5 hours and then was given a quick scrub with a wire brush.

Also, the Turbo steering wheel is interchangeable with the Outrun steering wheel. The steering columns are different though.

EDIT: Upon further investigation it turns out I actually have an Outrun steering wheel on my Turbo. The Turbo should have chrome spokes.
