40One of the optional superbosses of the game. This guy is quite hard.
This boss uses the RPG ability set. Using attacks uses up game power and this regenerates over time. Jerry can parry bullets for x2 damage while Claire can parry physical attacks for x3 damage.
This boss has some unique rules to it:
Red bullets: can't dash or parry these.
Green bullets: you can dash through these and cancel them with the alternate shot.
Blue bullets: you can dash and parry these. After you parry them you get a circle around you for a second that cancels all the bullets and converts them into game power.
On the final healthbar you need to parry the blue bullets before you can damage the boss.
Gold time requirement is 343 so I managed to get it quite under that. Speed trick is to use a bird swarm right before a parry, so that you get the x2 damage bonus on it. You can also skip a few phases on the final healthbar if you get double hits in on the Claire parries. You can also juggle the boss to the top of the screen to skip the platforming segment.
