This theme... disturbs me. In and out of context. It's so dissonant, so distorted, so lacking in melody and so terrifyingly constructed that it literally gets a physical reaction out of me. Hearing this song makes me shudder every single time. The worst part about this song is the feelings of hopelessness and isolation it gives off, as if you're alone, trying to find a signal to contact someone, but all you get is static, distortion and frightening instrumentation. Alone with this music and your own madness.

In the game itself, this song plays while you're in a ruined, burning building. You hear this discordant music down a hall and you see a TV with the G-Man on it... which shuts down and breaks on its own accord when you approach it. It also has no cord. WHY? This insanely creepy appearance by G-Man has actually caused this song to be named G-Man's unofficial theme by certain groups. Like G-Man it's mysterious, unnerving and it disappears in a flash.

Overall, this is probably my personal pick for most disturbing VGM I've heard yet; it may be different for you, but this song just creeps me out on numerous levels.

Happy Halloween...

And yes, this song is the theme of the Demon Pokemon in my story arc. It's so utterly disturbing that I couldn't have it any other way.
