WARNING: MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR PORTAL 2

Here it is, folks. The first AVGM in over a year!

Now that I have a laptop, which makes all my uploads faster and easier, I've decided to resume Awesome Video Game Music. These act as good placeholders in between countdowns (especially when they're as long as the one I'm currently working on) and I've always wanted to continue. Especially now that I have MANY songs I want to upload, it's the perfect time for me to continue.

Now, my first new upload is from Portal 2 and is my favourite song in the series by far. It plays just at the end of the game, where GLaDOS, frustrated with Chell once and for all, ejects her from the facility. Yet... she orders her turrets to sing an entire damn opera song for you. A BEAUTIFUL one. This brings us into GLaDOS' bizarre mind, as she clearly thinks of Chell as both a nuisance and an ally. Leave it up to your own interpretation over which side is more dominant, but for now enjoy this lovely song.

I decided to choose this as my first new AVGM because it's a great song, it has an almost celebratory tone to it (this IS my glorious return to AVGMs after all!) and its full version was only recently released to the public.

Fun fact? Before voicing GLaDOS, Ellen McLain was indeed a trained opera singer!
