In this video, Dive Bomber, released in 1988 for the Atari ST by Epyx / U.S.Gold.
Also known as Night Rider, this game is a "simulator" of airborne naval warfare set during World War II. We take the role of a british pilot who flies a new model of plane, the Blackhawk, and who is on duty on the aircraft carrier Ark Royal. Since the Bismark has just sunk the HMS Hood, our main mission is to sink the Bismark and get revenge.
Even if the game has simple graphics and sound fx, the playability of this game is above average, once you learn how to pilot the Blackhawk. The difficulty is also above average, because while you are doing your mission, you have to keep an eye on the Ark Royal and defend it from U-boot and other planes, otherwise you'll not have a "solid and secure" place to land once finished your main mission.
