Divinity II - Maxos' Temple
2NOTE: I am playing on Normal difficulty right now. Yes I am over-leveled. The enemies here are about level 13, and I entered this Temple at level 20-21.
I am finally getting around to Maxos Temple after doing every side quest I could find in Broken Valley and even defeating enemies and doing 2 side quests in Orobas Fjords. (Realized while there that the difficulty setting was set to Casual and that's why the level 21-23 mobs weren't murdering the heck out of me when I was only level 14. I changed the difficulty back to Normal before entering the Depleted Mine there.)
In here you must defeat Amdusias, the disciple who found a way to become dragon against his master's wishes. He, like Lovis, is cursed. Complete "A Tale of Two Tomes" to receive the Orbis Arcesso volume 2 to turn Amdusias back to human so you can defeat him. You can also get Lovis' Soul Stone from him to either return to him for his quest or destroy on the Blood Altar at the request of a ghost there (different video).
