In order to finish Maxos Temple, Amdusias must be brought down.

He is invulnerable as a dragon. I tried. I died once. Read books several times thinking it was bugged until I found out I needed to turn in a quest to get the right book to read.

I am currently playing on normal difficulty. But I am over-leveled, so that helped.
