A new glitch I found on the Wii Virtual-Console version of Donkey Kong Country. It leads to many previously known as well as new side-effects.

To do it:

1) Have only one Kong
2) Go into a stage you've already completed and that has a DK barrel you can pick up
3) Throw it, but pause before it breaks
4) Exit out of the level by pressing SELECT
5) Re-enter the level or enter any other level you want
6) Get hit by an enemy BUT ONLY OVER A PIT SO YOU FALL INTO THE PIT AND DIE. If you don't, the character just freezes in place and you have to reset the game.
6) Now Enter any level you want and break open a DK barrel. It can lead to a LOT of other glitches. This is just a sample... (Parts 2, 3 and 4 coming soon...)
