Sorry its been awhile, but Im back from holiday and ready to resume video uploads again. Lets kick off 2021 with a blast!..a shoot em up blast from a beloved shoot em up series (and one of my personal favorites)
R Type Delta was released in 1998 for the PlayStation One. Developed by Irem and published by Agetec and Sony Entertainment, it is the fourth game (Delta is Greek for the number 4) of the popular R-Type shoot em up franchise. The game is for single or multi players (multiplayer mode is not co op however). The game has a total of seven stages.
Set in the year 2164, one year after the first R-Type game, strange phenomenon are happening across the world. The situation escalates when contact with the orbital defense platform "Mortiz G" is mysteriously lost. Suddenly, the Mortiz G crash lands somewhere in Asia (possibly Hong Kong) and goes on a destructive rampage across the city. A military operation is instigated. The Earth Special Defense Forces decide to send the latest model of R9 fighter; The experimental R-9A2 Delta to stop the Mortiz and investigate who, or what is behind the Mortiz malfunction...
