Greetings, Dungeon Masters! What day is it? I don't know but I am here nevertheless to show you a technique that I like to use which I thought could make a worthwhile tool in your roleplaying tool box. I call it, "sliding tables," though I don't know if it has a better name. The crux of it is to combine a skill check (or other number) with a random table such that the first number informs the result of the table.
