Do It Yourself - How To Install Seymour Duncan SH-13 Pickups On A Dean ML 79 Guitar - Tutorial
37Welcome to my new experiment.
I changed the DMT Humbucker of my Dean ML 79 to a Seymour Duncan SH-13 Dimebucker.
Important: You have to look up how you have to connect the wires for every humbucker individual.
Other humbuckers could have other colours for their wires!
It was the first time i ever made something like this. Suprisingly everything was fine after it.
It was not a professional tutorial, but i wanted to learn it by myself.
The soldering could be maybe much better, but the humbucker works correctly and fine.
Please look up other videos on youtube for a professional pickup change.
With this tutorial i wanted to take the fear, of the first contact with things like this!

The Legendary Dimebag Darrell was the founding member of Pantera, one of the best bands in the world for me. What he does with his sound and guitar is unreachable. This guitar is my personal little tribute to him.
