Hi Friends Welcome to Viktors Reality:
today I update every Gigabyte M28U owner on the new F10 Firmware update that Rtings has tested. According to Rtings the new F10 reverts the M28U monitors brightness back to original levels of about 300nits.
As the F07 update introduced 500+nits in SDR brightness with local dimming on. My testing shows my M28U on F07 does show a slow backlight. So you have 2 options:
If you are on F07 and love the brightness and can deal with the slow (or maybe not) backlight... Do Not Update! but if you do have issues and dont mind losing that brightness while getting a faster backlight as the transition has lessened then go ahead.
