Do We Actually Know What Happened in the Past? Herodotus vs. Thucydides | the Old Europe Podcast #1
This is the pilot episode of my new podcast series - "The Old Europe Podcas", in which I will be talking about different historical topics every two weeks or so. In this episode, I picked a more general topic suitable for a pilot. Do we actually know what happened in the past with reasonable accuracy? Why is Herodotus known as "The Father of History"? What is Thucydides famous? As this is the first episode of this podcast, any feedback will be greatly appreciated so that the format could be improved in the future.
