My love for music is really... I don't know how to put it.
I just really like music, and when there's an underground/or not underground artist that is making good art I have to listen, because I could truly relate to that person in some way, or it just makes me feel... I don't know how to describe it.
You don't know how much effort goes into this type of stuff such as: Music, Editing YouTube Videos, Producing a beat (EVEN A HORRIBLE ONE), Camera Work, Lighting, Coloring, Directing, Lyricism (Writing), Looking for samples, Timing, Scheduling, Self Discipline and etc.
UNLESS you actually do it. There's a huge freakin' learning curve, and you'll need patience, hope and basically everything!
It is so difficult to execute an beautiful or awesome idea (TRUST ME) I fail like... EVERYDAY. I write and sometimes produce on the daily. Not a hour goes by without me thinking about music or wanting to pursue music in some way, and then trying, and then making the most abominable music you ever heard (ITS HEARTBREAKING/DISCOURAGING)
ANYWHO!!!
I want to start a series where I react/listen to under-apricated artists, and soon start releasing my own projects and art.
When you watch this video you can see a part of me that I don't really show that often. I'm like a nerd/geek when it comes to this kind of stuff, you know? (even though I'm like that all the time)
Not going to lie... re-watching me talk about this episode's artist it looks/sounds like I'm an obsessed creep. Which wasn't something I was trying to go for.
I like music and I want to learn more about it, and support whoever that deserves it.
On the top of my head I could already think of some very talented "Underground artists" such as:
DAMFO
and
Honey Kilo.
I am not sure if I got those names right, but I am currently running off of zero sleep. I pulled an all nighter editing this LONG AHH video. I know the edits are not on point, but I just wanted to get this video out as soon as possible, not because I wanted the views from reacting from a fresh release, but try to get more people to listen to this art, and to get to know the "real" me, aaaannd maybe find more people that enjoy/love music.
Note... I am pretty awkward when I'm recording by myself. It's kinda boring not gonna lie, but if you enjoy music as much as I do. I think you'll like what JIMMY has made.
