The debate emerges every year whether people should have to wear a poppy to commemorate the British armed forces. The Poppy is a symbol of this, stemming from a WW1 poem.

While it has strong WW1 connotations the day has been made to encompass all dead servicemen, from Egypt, Greece to Northern Ireland and Iraq.

In light of this should people have to wear a poppy? Should November 11th be reserved for those killed in WW1 and WW2?
